  • Original first Decca "dinked" pressings were stamped/cut-out with their legendary tri-centre Dinkers (originally introduced by Capitol USA in 1950) the Tri-centre Dinker plates were re-placed and changed to round 4-pin dinkers The tri optional centre Dinkers were sold on to Teal in South Africa, Teal also had a factory in Rhodesia (aka Zimbabwe) intial round 4-pin OC's were smooth and flat and were pressed using the same stamper plates as used for the Tri-centre's. The stamper plates were then changed and have two depressed and graded circular cores, which show up as raised rings on the finished pressings. Making it easy to tell when a UK Decca 45 was pressed and it's generation, the stamper plates changed twice more in Decca's UK history. This amazing gospelish chugger had it's first UK 45 stereo release in it's full un-cut version as Yellow RCA-Victor labeled 12". But to be a genuine Isley fan the mono Silver on Black tri- optional centre first run pressings are the holy grail the smooth finish 4-pin round optional centre pressings become a poor second. They just don't cut the moo-tard and look the buisness compared to a tri.
