  • Another collection of fine quality funk grooves from the Baby Mammoth boys. Another Day at the Orifice turns out to be anything but –- unless your orifice is crammed full of juicy beats and some jazzy undertones. With more attention paid to atmosphere, this album is certainly smokier than the previous ones. “Frank Furtive” is a sunny as July on the Monster Island, while “Blessing the Meek” is a lowdown jazz affair. “Hair Breaks” swirls around happily. A few tracks run a longer than they should, but they’re highly enjoyable nonetheless.
